So first of all I would like to thanks all those folks who fasted and prayed for Corey cause I can tell you that it helped. Corey and I went to the hospital on Monday morning at 11:30 ready for the surgery. The night before neither I or Corey slept one bit. I have never been more sick about something in my entire life. Anyway, Corey and I sat in the waiting room for about an hour just waiting for the doctor to finish his surgery before us, and Coreys mom showed up to keep me some company, but manly to keep me from going crazy. Finally the nurse came in to get Corey and we followed him into the pre-op room. Corey changed into a gown and socks and a hair net to get ready for surgery. The nurse came in and put and IV into Corey and injected some normal saline to keep him hydrated and some antibiotics to keep infection from attacking his body during the surgery. The doctor came in and I expressed my concern to him about how I didnt feel comfortable about him going into surgery without them doing another CT scan or x-ray to see where the stone is. Seriously why though if you think about it why would the docotor go in there and fish around down there and find that there is nothing there. SERIOUSLY! So he listened to me hahahahahaha a so called nurse and rechecked with an x-ray to make sure that the stone hasnt moved or even where it was. Coreys mom and I just sat and waited for a while and until Coreys returned. Not long after after they returned the doctor came in and sat down and told us that the x-ray showed nothing. There was no longer a stone or if there was it wasnt in sight. The doctor kept insisting that Corey must have passed it but I personally have watched his every move and he hadnt. Plus I think that Corey would have known whether or not that he passed the stone, why would he lie. It was a medical miracle. hahahahahaha No seriously how else do you explain it. So there for Corey didnt go through with the surgery and he is doing totally fine. We are so grateful for my family and all their support. It is such a blessing to have the church in my life and for the love and kindness that surrounds us everyday with everyone that we know and love. Thank goodness Corey didnt have to go through with the surgery and we thank are lucky stars for that.
Corey and I got married on August 11, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple and are just about ready to celebrate our 6th year anniversary (being married.)We have known each other for almost 10 years and cant say it was love at first site, but it didnt take long to figure that we were meant to be together. Our sweet baby girl Avery just turned one and she is our light and joy in out lives. Corey has just finished the police academy, while I am currently working as an RN for a couple differnt companies but mostly with the geriatric community. Lets just say I like to keep my options open. This is a blog that we like to talk about our lives (if we have the time to update.) And keep in touch with the ones who are apart of it.
