AM I ACTUALLY DONE?

WHAT AN AMAZING FEELING! I have finally graduated from Nursing school. On June 13th I had to wake up early to take the "exit exam" to finally finish my nursing school career. The exit exam is the test the you take before the school can send your transcript to the state for you to recieve your actual licensure. It was literally one of the hardest tests that I have ever taken in my life. I was smart by going to the temple to night before and then having Corey give me a blessing that morning, cause I passed. PHEW! Unfortunatley the school had computer issues and everyone was freaking out that morning so out of 50 students only 8 of us passed. But for sure next time all my fellow classmates will do GREAT!

I dont know if I have mentioned this to anyone, but I had to plan our entire graduation for our class of 50. We decided to do a pinning ceremony instead of "walking" in a cap and gown. IT was a little bit more personal for each one of us and I was glad that we did it. But I decided to have it at Willow Creek Country Club and have a sit down dinner and after words having the pinning ceremony. I couldnt believe the effort that it took, I kind of felt like I was planning another wedding, except that I was the wedding planner, financial aide personal, the decorater, the speaker, the cordinator, the seating arrangment guru............etc. WOW! So for me it was that much more of an accomplishment. BUT IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS and I am grateful for that. Her are a few pictures of the night, I took more on my parents camera and will update later. Thanks to all who supported me and wished me a Congrats, I really appreciate it and am so pround of myself which is an amazing feeling.

This is a picture of me my parents and Corey sitting at our dinner table waiting to eat.

This is the "CLAN" Corey wasnt that good at taking the picture so its not that cute, but these are my girls they are the ones who helped me get through the toughest 2 years of my life! thanks love ya!

This is a random picture but one of my favorites. Our school colors are red, white, and blue and my mom and I came up with this idea for our center pieces. I rented these glass vases from Diamond Rental and we put blue rocks that are usually suppose to go in the bottom of fish tanks. Then we put water and white floating candles on top. We also bought some cute ribbon to put around them to dress them up a bit, and I think they turned out so cute.

That really is so awesome! Congrates on passing that test too, I've heard it is really hard so that is really something to be proud of and now you don't have to think about it! The party looked amazing, I wouldn't expect that you could put together anything less then that though, you have always been good with that! Good luck on where you go from here...

Jess, I am sooooooooooooo proud of you. What an amazing accomplishment. I know how difficult and challenging this has been for you, but you can finally breathe easy. I miss our visiting teaching moments and wish I could still visit so we "had" to see eachother. I guess we will have to plan a group dinner...soon. Enjoy the moment. Lots of love, Amanda

Jessie--Congratulations! I bet you're so relieved to finally be done. Considering I've never been to a day of college in my life I really do look at that as such an accomplishment. Great job!
