Corey and I were fortunate enough to experience the NASCAR races in Las Vegas last weekend. We scored the tickets from our bro-in-law Todd. Thanks Todd we loved it! Corey poor thing has never been to Vegas and we really needed a get away. Since it was such last minute we werent able to get a hotel in Mesquite and didnt want to pay $200.00 or more to stay in Vegas so we decided St.George! We were so pumped! Corey went to a Nascar race last year in Arizona and I just laugh at the crazy excitement over the sport. I know what your all thinking, "NASCAR hahahahaha what a hick sport," Well all I can say is you MUST experience it once in your life. It is AMAZING all of the fans and the support I couldnt believe the people and the trailers! hahahaha Corey mentioned going down there and staying in a trailer and I just thought I was going to puke. What a dork! SO we left last Friday after work and stayed until Sunday night. Unfortunatley Kyle Bush WON......BLAH! You would understand, trust me if you watched Nascar. It was so exilarating each time the cars would start and stop because of crashes and we saw about a million. My head was pounding so hard and I couldnt hear a thing the whole way home, but it was all worth it. Maybe we'll make a tradition of it. I cant wait to hear your comments Corey has totally transformed his beached tan skinny wife to a white fat freckeled hick! OH WELL!
Only at Nascar could you get a Turkey leg on a stick. EWE!! Everyone had one.
Our seats were great! We were close but far enough away to see all of the action. THANKS TODD AGAIN!
Look at all of the trailers. These were just fans. You should have seen the parking lot. There were probably 3 x as much. CRAZY!
Corey and I got married on August 11, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple and are just about ready to celebrate our 6th year anniversary (being married.)We have known each other for almost 10 years and cant say it was love at first site, but it didnt take long to figure that we were meant to be together. Our sweet baby girl Avery just turned one and she is our light and joy in out lives. Corey has just finished the police academy, while I am currently working as an RN for a couple differnt companies but mostly with the geriatric community. Lets just say I like to keep my options open. This is a blog that we like to talk about our lives (if we have the time to update.) And keep in touch with the ones who are apart of it.
